Things to do in Albany, Western Australia?

Albany has loads to do and has a great atmosphere! The Gap is a must see - a natural rock formation about an hour from town which is absolutely amazing. Most of the beaches arent very nice most of the year, but are nicest over summer (Dec-Feb) especially around Middleton beach (you're dog will love the dog beach!). The windmills are quite nice as well, if only to look out at the spectacular view and have a gorgoeus trail snaking down. But the best part of Albany is the laid back feel - just walking around town you will find lots of quirky little shops and all the people are very friendly. Have a great time :)
