Is it possible to tax a country into prosperity?

No! We can only do that once every 100 yrs. If our taxes get increased It's only asking for trouble. With gas and food prices on the rise most working Americans are struggling to make ends meet. Increasing the taxes will only send this country into a downfall. This country's government needs to cut spending and get rid of the costly wars. Use that money to better educate American childrens, and find solutions on energy resources and ways to unite the world in fair trading...
